During the Spring of 2025, I participated in a Themed Finishes workshop hosted by Casto Creative (www.castocreative.com) and supplemented by many awesome industry professionals. It was an incredible opportunity and it allowed me to learn several new crafting techniques that are commonly used in theme park settings! Some of these skills included base concrete pouring and troweling, concrete overlays, exposed aggregates, sculpting and detailing, painting themed surfaces, sealants and resins, and even mold making. It was a great way to get some physical skills to compliment my digital portfolio!
